I am here Hafiz

God in His infinite patience awaits your arrival

In His grand ballroom

with all its magnificence

And yet you and your partner

dressed to the nines

Have chosen the Poverty of Spirit at the Paupers ball

No, not that poverty where you feed the hungry

with the bread of life

With the wine of Divine love

in The Eternal dance

But that impoverished ball of endless distractions

succumbing to all those things

You believed you couldn’t do without

And yet when you arrive at the Creators dance

you will wonder

and be amazed

And say, “why did it take me so long to get here”?

And as you step out on the floor to dance with the Beloved

You will merge with every dancing planet

Spinning in Joy

Like the whirling Dervish

You are

God’s Dancer

I am here Hafiz the poet

And you in your galaxy a pinpoint in the vast universe of the Creator living on a microcosmic dot in an expanding universe and yet there is a beam of light connecting each one to the Source. This connection facilitated by love and brought about by each one seeking this love(* in the spiritual hunt the prey captures the hunter). The Creator in His wisdom makes it possible. How is anything possible? How are we breathing?

Living in a world full of darkness and yet full of light. Full of death and full of life. You who have discovered the majesty of the love Divine. You have discovered the great treasure that our glorious Creator has given. No one would walk away from such riches.

In God’s love I am your friend,
