I am here Francis the one who sang and preached and walked the hills of Assisi. I wish to add, if I may, to the insightful remarks of my brother Yogananda.

When I had my awakening and saw the world for what it was, that the world lived impoverished in spirit. When I felt the touch of God’s hand upon me, I knew I could let go of everything and there I was standing naked, proclaiming my mission and desire to live in the richness of God’s love and the poverty of simplicity. Only God could change me, this I knew. But I would have to take that step towards God and this I would like you to consider. I don’t mean you all need to take off your clothes and go live in the woods, (laughs) but you do need to stand naked before God spiritually and allow God to change you. Make your consciousness your desire to live in Grace and it will be so. I leave you now to be with you in silent prayer. May God bless you. All my love to each one of you. I am here Francis. I come in the grace of God in this blessed circle, in this holy community. I wish to speak of pride. The pride of a parent for a child growing up, doing well. The pride of a team, of an accomplishment and so forth. This side of being proud is a grace. But you all know the saying “pride comes before a fall.” and this was my experience. I was to inherit much in worldly goods, in connections, and business. And I had traveled and been a solider and from my point of view beaten the world risen above it. When I took ill, I saw the worthlessness of this pride, of these material things, worldly accomplishments. It shook me to my core and it humbled me. I walked away much to the disdain of many, the anger of my parents who had loved me so much, and had held such high hopes in their world for me.

I had an experience which could be compared to the story of Paul falling off his horse, being struck so to speak. And there I was falling off my high horse to the ground, the good earth, to the sights and the sounds of the birds and the smells of the flowers, and even the soil in my fingers, all of God’s Creation, not of man. And I knew in my soul I could connect to my Creator, my being in His church. And this church was pure and one that allowed much freedom and brought so much joy and gifts to myself and my brothers, and later our sisters. But you know the secret of the soul is to be humble before your Creator, to ask “dear God, bless my soul, heal this wound, touch my friends, change me and this mortal coil to At-onement with You in eternity. I tell you it matters not which lens you are seeing the world or spiritual life, philosophy, science for when you open your heart, trust in sincere faith, and you call out from the deep longings in your soul for that treasure beyond all the earthly treasures, you receive it. It is simple. It is divine. It is God’s Love. His wish for you. My dear brothers and sisters, you are blessed and you belong here. Fear not, God is Gracious. I am your brother and friend in Christ. I am Francis. Go with God.

I am your brother in Christ and your friend Francis

I have stated many times that I went from a worldly life to a very simple life. In harmony with nature and in prayer to God. Removed from the world for a time. During this time on Earth where you have been somewhat removed from the world at large, the opportunity to go into your souls, to go into prayer, to make things simple, had been yours. When I considered when I was quite ill if I should leave the Earth this day what in fact could I take with me, what would I want to take with me and what would I wish to leave behind I allowed this to inform my walk into the future. And since the many things of the world that I had indulged in did not bring the happiness and up-liftment and joy that I sought, it was not difficult to leave them behind for the glorious communion of souls of my brothers and later the sisters. Walking in nature, living simple, praying for God’s love this communion can be yours. This community connected around the world which you have the benefit of, what a gift to each other what a blessing it is. You come together in this prayer, in this circle with the longings in your hearts, in your souls to receive the greatest gift of God’s love. And as much as you allow it, believe me you shall receive it. May it lift you up sustain you transform you. This is the Grace of the Gift. May each prayer connect you to the Celestial realm and the love of God. May it be yours. And so it is.
